Dr. Song is a highly trained, Board Certified Podiatrist who specialize in examination, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of foot disorders by physical, medical,and surgical means.


He is trained to detect the signs of general bodily disorders which may appear first in the lower extremity, such as diabetes or circulatory disorders. When such diagnoses are made, he consults with patient’s family doctor or Specialists concerning continuing treatment.


Dr. David Song graduated with D.P.M. (Doctoral Degree in Doctor of Podiatric Medicine) from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, after obtaining B.S. (Bachelor's of Science degree) from the University of Akron, Ohio.


His post graduate training includes 2 year Podiatric Medical & Surgical Residency at Northeastern Hospital of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and 1 year Podiatric Medical & Surgical Fellowship/Preceptorship at the Ankle & Foot Clinic of Dr. Scholl's College of Podiatric Medicine in Kokomo, Indiana. 


Prior to being a founder of  Harpeth Foot & Ankle Center, he was an associate of Akron Ambulatory Foot Surgeons, Inc. in Akron, Ohio, and Family Foot Center of Cookeville, TN.


Dr. Song has been actively involved in Mid Tennessee Podiatric Medical Association recently, and served as a President in 2007. He developed a website, On-line Journal Club, for member Podiatrists.


Dr. Song lives in Brentwood with his wife Kay and Daughter Jessica.
